Vinh Phuc improves investment environment, aiming for sustainable growth

In recent years, Vinh Phuc province has gradually affirmed its position as an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors, thanks to its strong efforts in improving the investment and business environment, promoting economic growth associated with sustainable development. This is also a solid foundation for Vinh Phuc to play a leading role in the development of the new Phu Tho province after the merger.

Innovation in thinking, synchronous administrative reform

Realizing that administrative reform is a breakthrough in attracting investment, Vinh Phuc has implemented many synchronous solutions to simplify procedures, shorten the time for processing documents, and improve the quality of business services. The Provincial Public Administration Service Center has been put into operation under the "one-stop-shop" mechanism, strongly applying information technology, contributing to improving the transparency and efficiency of state management.

Vinh Phuc's Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) has been maintained in the good and fair group for many consecutive years, demonstrating its determination to improve the quality of economic management and investment environment.

In addition, the province prioritizes the synchronous development of transport, industrial and urban infrastructure to meet long-term development requirements. Large industrial parks such as Ba Thien, Thang Long Vinh Phuc, Tam Duong II... are planned in a modern manner, with clean land funds, synchronous infrastructure, and full support services, creating favorable conditions for investors to quickly implement projects. At the same time, the province focuses on developing ecological industrial parks, promoting clean, energy-saving and environmentally friendly production models.

Identifying enterprises as the driving force for growth, Vinh Phuc provincial government always accompanies investors through regular dialogue programs, promptly removing difficulties and obstacles, while building a stable business environment and creating long-term trust. The province also implements reasonable and selective investment incentive policies, prioritizing high-tech and environmentally friendly projects.

To support businesses in expanding export markets, Vinh Phuc has actively innovated trade promotion activities, strengthened connections with Vietnamese trade counselors abroad, organized fairs and exhibitions in potential markets, and developed sustainable supply chains in line with international standards. Effectively utilizing new-generation free trade agreements such as EVFTA, CPTPP, RCEP, etc. also creates competitive advantages, helping the province's products penetrate deeper into the global market.

At the same time, the province has promoted administrative procedure reform, supported export credit, and trained high-quality human resources to serve international integration. Investment promotion activities, improved logistics infrastructure, ensured adequate electricity and water supply for production, and improved labor quality have also been focused on, in order to reduce costs for businesses and attract more new projects.

Currently, the business sector contributes up to 90% of the province's total budget revenue, while creating stable jobs for about 582,600 workers, contributing to making Vinh Phuc a bright spot in the country in attracting investment and developing industry. This is a solid foundation for the province to quickly move towards the goal of becoming a modern industrial province, a center for automobile and motorbike production in the region.

Orientation for high-tech, sustainable and comprehensive development

Vinh Phuc province is orienting its economic structure towards increasing the proportion of high-tech industry, technology-based agriculture and high-quality services. This is a strategic step to create great added value, develop the economy in conjunction with environmental protection and ensure social security.

With strategic vision and decisive actions, Vinh Phuc is increasingly affirming its role as a dynamic, transparent and sustainable investment destination on Vietnam's economic map.

In particular, after the three provinces of Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh and Phu Tho merged into a new administrative unit - the new Phu Tho province, this is not only a step forward in terms of administrative organization but also opens up opportunities for comprehensive development for the whole region. In the new structure, Vinh Phuc continues to play a leading role in industry and services, while pioneering in improving the investment environment, pursuing a green and sustainable growth model, contributing to creating a solid foundation for the long-term development of the Northern Midlands and Mountains.
