The ceremony was attended by comrades: Dao Hong Lan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Minister of Health; Do Ngoc Huynh, Deputy Head of the Government Office ; Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province; leaders, former leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Office of the Ministry of Health through the periods; along with a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working in the office of the health sector.
In his opening speech, Mr. Doan Huu Thien, Party Secretary and Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Health, reviewed the 80-year history of the Office. Since its establishment in 1945, in a difficult context, the Office had only about 10 staff members but shouldered a large amount of work, ensuring administrative and logistical work, organizing the frontline medical network, and participating in serving major campaigns such as Dien Bien Phu.
Through the period of resistance war, national construction and development, the Office of the Ministry of Health has increasingly matured, playing the role of a central advisory, coordination, synthesis, logistics, effectively serving the direction and operation of the Ministry's leaders. In particular, during the period of innovation and integration, the Office has taken the lead in administrative reform, application of information technology, digital transformation, modernization of document and archive work, organization of online conferences, strengthening medical communication and close coordination with press agencies.

The staff of the Ministry of Health Office has worked silently, devotedly and responsibly, making an important contribution to the overall achievements of the whole industry. That 80-year tradition is the driving force for us to continue to innovate, create, improve professionalism, and meet the increasingly high demands in the new period.
Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen praised the important contributions of the Ministry's Office and the entire health sector office system, and requested to continue innovating working methods, promoting administrative reform, applying information technology and building a team of professional and courageous staff to meet the requirements of digital transformation.
According to the Deputy Minister, the Ministry Office is not only the center for advising and coordinating the activities of the sector but also the core force in administrative reform, enhancing communication, innovating working methods and applying modern technology. At each step of development of the health sector, the office is always the 'bridge' connecting the leadership's direction and implementation to the grassroots, ensuring efficiency and transparency in management and operation.
An important highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of noble titles. Doctor, Meritorious Physician Doan Huu Thien, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Health, was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President for his outstanding achievements during his work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland. On behalf of the President, Minister Dao Hong Lan solemnly presented this noble award to comrade Doan Huu Thien.
Also at the ceremony, on behalf of the Government Office's leadership, comrade Do Ngoc Huynh, Deputy Head of the Government Office, awarded the "For the Cause of the Government Office" Medal to comrade Dao Hong Lan, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Health and comrade Do Xuan Tuyen, Permanent Deputy Minister of Health.

The Minister of Health awarded Certificates of Merit to 30 groups and 27 outstanding individuals in the entire health sector office. These are typical units and individuals in consulting, management, coordination, with many initiatives and outstanding contributions in the emulation movement to celebrate 80 years of tradition.
In particular, on this occasion, the Office of the Ministry of Health launched the book "Vietnam Health Sector Office - 80 years (1945-2025) of construction and development", recording the historical journey, lessons learned and examples of dedicated and responsible office staff through the ages.
