Vietcombank leads the list of Top 10 Banks - Green ESG Vietnam 2025 (ESG10), demonstrated through two criteria: (1) Business efficiency and sustainability compared to the industry average; (2) Commitments and implementation on the environment, social responsibility and corporate governance.
In 2024, Vietcombank successfully issued VND 2,000 billion in green bonds, becoming the first unit in Vietnam to issue green bonds in compliance with Vietnamese law and voluntarily comply with the Green Bond Principles of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA). At the same time, the bank continues to expand its green credit portfolio, directing capital flows to renewable energy projects, sustainable infrastructure and environmentally friendly production. In addition, Vietcombank also implements many large-scale social security programs, focusing oneducation , health care and supporting disadvantaged communities with a total budget of VND 571 billion.
