The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranked second with a total of 16 medals, including 8 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals. The third ranked delegation was Kazakhstan with 20 medals of all kinds (7 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals).

The delegations in the Southeast Asian region ranked from fourth to seventh respectively: Thailand with 10 medals of all kinds (6 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals); Philippines won 10 medals (5 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, 2 Bronze Medals); Malaysia won 5 medals of all kinds (2 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals, 1 Bronze Medal); Indonesia with a total of 8 medals (1 Gold Medal, 3 Silver Medals, 4 Bronze Medals).
The tournament was held from June 20 to 25, bringing together more than 300 coaches, athletes, and referees from 19 countries and territories. Athletes competed for 50 sets of medals in 28 combat weight categories and 8 technical performance events. The Vietnamese sports delegation had 50 athletes participating.

Head coach of the National Muay Team Duong Ngoc Hai said that Vietnamese athletes have shown much improvement in their professional quality compared to previous tournaments. "However, we cannot rest on our laurels. After this tournament, athletes need to continue training to prepare for other international tournaments," said Mr. Hai.
