Many special activities to celebrate the establishment of the new Lam Dong province

On the afternoon of June 26, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province informed about events celebrating the establishment of the new Lam Dong province on the basis of merging Dak Nong and Binh Thuan provinces into Lam Dong province.

The series of events will begin with the international workshop on Vietnam-Cuba Biomedical Technology Cooperation to concretize and implement Resolution No. 57 NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, taking place on June 28. Next, on June 29, the program "Lam Dong Entrepreneurs, solidarity, loyalty, steadfastly rising with the country" will take place at the hall of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.

Lam Dong Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a press conference to announce programs to celebrate the establishment of the new Lam Dong province.

In particular, on this occasion, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province organized the groundbreaking ceremony of Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Phase 1 under the public-private partnership model. The groundbreaking ceremony was held at the intersection of National Highway 27, N'Thon Ha commune, Duc Trong district on the morning of June 29.

This is a project that Lam Dong province has been waiting for for many years to reduce the load on National Highway 20, connecting Lam Dong province with the southern provinces. The project is 73.62km long, with a scale of phase 1 of 17m wide roadbed, 4 lanes, and intermittent emergency lanes. The total investment in phase 1 of Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway is 17,718 billion VND, of which the state capital is 9,957 billion VND. The project contractor is Phuong Trang Group Joint Stock Company - FUTA GROUP - Phuong Thanh Construction Joint Stock Company.

To celebrate the above special event, on June 30, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province also organized many art programs at Da Lat Opera House - Lam Vien Square, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat.

On this occasion, Thuy Duong Company Limited opened the show "Epic of Au Lac" at DELIGHT PARK Flower and Art Light Park in Da Lat.

Responding to the establishment of the new Lam Dong province, many agencies, units and enterprises in Lam Dong province will also organize activities to honor, promote and introduce the image, potential and strengths of the new Lam Dong province. In particular, the Lam Dong province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center will organize exhibitions of typical OCOP and agricultural products of the new Lam Dong province.

On this occasion, Thuy Duong Company Limited opened the show of "Epic of Au Lac" at the DELIGHT PARK Flower and Light Art Park in Da Lat on July 6. This is a special art program, combining a large-scale music performance and the "Epic of Au Lac" water music light show with a 5-minute fireworks display on the surface of Suong Mai Lake. All art programs to celebrate the establishment of the new Lam Dong province are open free of charge to serve the people and tourists.

To ensure security and order, the Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police has directed functional departments to develop detailed plans to ensure security and safety for Party and State leaders and guests attending the event announcing the decision to establish the new Lam Dong province.
