[Video] Nearly 104,000 Hanoi students enter 10th grade exam

On the morning of June 7, nearly 104,000 9th graders in Hanoi officially took the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a highly competitive exam, attracting special attention from parents and students.

Candidates take three compulsory subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. With the exam method, the number of subjects and the exam format being kept stable, students have a clear review direction and are more proactive in preparation. This year's exam is the first time the exam questions are applied according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program.

The exam took place on June 7 and 8. On the morning of June 7, candidates took the first exam subject, Literature; candidates registering for admission to specialized schools took the additional specialized exam on June 9. The Hanoi Department of Education affirmed its determination to organize the exam seriously, fairly, in accordance with regulations and ensuring safety in all aspects.
