On September 2, Can Tho Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. (Can Tho Lottery Company) launched a scratch-off lottery product with immediate results, with the first batch of 4 million tickets issued, with a face value of VND 10,000/ticket. The circulation period is 90 days (from September 2 to December 1).

The prize structure for 1 million tickets includes 1 special prize (6 numbers) of 1 billion VND, 10 first prizes (5 numbers) of 80 million VND, 10 second prizes (5 numbers) of 15 million VND... and 100,000 ninth prizes (1 number) of 10,000 VND. The total prize value is 22 billion VND, corresponding to a payout ratio of 55% of the total value of the issued tickets.

Mr. Tu Hien (An Binh Ward, Can Tho City) who often buys lottery tickets was excited when he learned about the new scratch-off lottery product that gives immediate results. "Scratch-off lottery tickets create an immediate sense of surprise without having to wait until the afternoon to know the results. Scratch-off lottery tickets are managed by the state, which will limit the number of people playing the lottery," said Mr. Tu Hien.

Mr. Tran Minh Tam - Chairman of Can Tho Lottery Company - said that scratch-off lottery tickets with immediate results contribute to increasing state budget revenue, increasing company revenue and profit, while creating more opportunities to increase income and stable livelihoods for agents and street lottery ticket sellers.

It is expected that in 2025, Can Tho Lottery Company will issue 12 million tickets to the market, equivalent to 120 billion VND.

Mr. Mai Huu Anh - a lottery agent in Vinh Long area - informed that traditional lottery tickets have been sold at over 99% in recent years, all agents do not have enough lottery tickets to supply to customers.

Therefore, scratch-off lottery tickets with immediate results will reduce supply pressure as well as create more business opportunities and better serve customers. “Scratch-off lottery tickets do not reduce the appeal of traditional lottery tickets, but are a complementary product that meets the diverse tastes of customers,” said Mr. Anh.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the scratch-off lottery product with immediate results, Mr. Vuong Quoc Nam - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee - said that this product is modern, convenient, and brings entertainment with rewards to people.

More importantly, this product contributes to increasing resources for the state budget so that the city can continue to invest in social welfare projects and care for the community.

In the first 7 months of 2025, the lottery business of Can Tho Lottery Company continued to develop and achieved many outstanding results. Sales revenue reached 4,200 billion VND, up 10.53% over the same period; pre-tax profit was 542 billion VND, up 10.82% over the same period.

Thereby, the enterprise paid 1,300 billion VND to the state budget, an increase of 6.56% over the same period in 2024. At the same time, it sponsored social security activities in Can Tho city with an amount of 13.6 billion VND.
