Provincial People's Committee met and congratulated Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

BTO-On the evening of June 20, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province held a meeting to congratulate journalists in the province on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee Office, Provincial Journalists Association and more than 70 journalists working at Binh Thuan Newspaper, Radio, Television, and Provincial Electronic Information Portal.

In a warm and intimate atmosphere, Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sent his congratulations and gratitude for the silent but responsible and courageous contributions of journalists - soldiers on the ideological front working at Binh Thuan Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, and the Provincial Electronic Information Portal.

The press has always been a reliable companion, an important information channel promoting the image, serving the cause of socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, building the Party and the political system. After more than 30 years of re-establishing the province, the provincial press has affirmed its role as a companion, contributing the intelligence, enthusiasm and courage of the press team following each step of change of the homeland.

Binh Thuan Newspaper and Radio and Television Station received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee.

One of the important milestones marking the transformation of the provincial press in 2025 is the merger of two key press agencies: Binh Thuan Newspaper and Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station. Under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, from June 20, 2025, the new unit named "Binh Thuan Newspaper and Radio and Television Station" will officially come into operation, aiming at a multimedia media agency model that is streamlined, efficient, modern and humane.

On the new journey, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee advised revolutionary journalists to constantly strive and study hard, to meet the high demands of intelligence, courage, sense of responsibility and dedication, to build the image of journalists as the late journalist Huu Tho once said "Bright eyes, pure heart, sharp pen". At the same time, he believed that with the sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and the support of the entire political system, the provincial press will continue to grow strong and steady, becoming a vanguard force in the construction of Lam Dong province to develop quickly, sustainably and comprehensively in the future.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to Binh Thuan Newspaper and Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station for their outstanding contributions in propaganda work, contributing to local socio-economic development.
