The competitions are held online on the platform www.tinhoctre.vn, ensuring fairness, transparency and conformity with the trend of digital transformation ineducation .

Candidates take the exam at the 2025 Tuyen Quang Province Youth Informatics Competition.

At the competition, many products were highly appreciated, demonstrating systematic technological thinking, clear applicability and the ability to replicate in practice. Among them, some typical students were recognized such as: Dang Ba Cuong, Le Van Tam Primary School (Tuyen Quang City); Ngo Van Thai, Le Quy Don Secondary School (Tuyen Quang City); Dinh Xuan Hieu, Ma Chi Anh, Tuyen Quang Specialized High School; Nguyen Pham Khanh Ngoc, Dang Bao Chi, Ham Yen High School... From learning support software, online testing tools, to integrated solutions, software deployment for education, the competition has truly opened the door to creativity for high school students.

Sowing digital seeds for the future

As one of the typical representatives of the province selected to participate in the 31st National Youth Informatics Contest in 2025, the project "SECRET BOX - Knowledge connection software" of the group of students of class 10A1, Ham Yen High School, implemented by two students Nguyen Pham Khanh Ngoc and Dang Bao Chi has high applicability and practical significance in education.

SECRET BOX is an online learning system that simulates the form of a “secret box”, where teachers create sets of questions for each subject. Students log in, open the box, do the exercises directly and are graded and ranked right on the system. The software not only helps teachers save time checking their assignments but also motivates them to study through the competition and ranking features among students in the class.

Khanh Ngoc shared: "We want to make a useful software that helps save time for teachers and at the same time makes our friends more excited about studying."

According to teacher Nguyen Xuan Ket, IT teacher at Ham Yen High School, who is guiding the team, SECRET BOX is not just a software to participate in the IT competition, the important thing is that the students have started to think like real software developers, the fact that they know how to pose problems, think of solutions and write code themselves is a great success in digital skills education.

The product is developed on the Laravel platform, using MySQL database and TailwindCSS interface, which are modern tools in web development, demonstrating the ability to grasp new technology of high school students. In particular, the software is highly open, easy to customize and can be deployed for testing in many high schools in the province.

Not just a competition, the positive effects from this playground are spreading strongly to schools. Many units have organized programming clubs, technology experience extracurricular activities, and experimental applications of student products in teaching. That shows that the competition not only encourages individual capacity but also contributes to shaping a culture of creative and innovative learning in schools.

Comrade Hoang Tran Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: “The Youth Informatics Contest is a creative educational playground where students can express themselves and experience. Through each exam, each product, we see the “green shoots of technology” growing in each classroom, each student, future digital citizens with the desire for innovation and readiness to adapt to the changes of the times.”
