

According to the parameters announced by the Ministry of Defense, this is a UAV codenamed VU MALE - a strategic level that performs missions such as reconnaissance, real-time target designation, electronic reconnaissance, information relay, and target attack thanks to its multi-load carrying capability.

VU MALE is equipped with a propeller engine with a maximum speed of 200 km/h, a ceiling of 10 km, a cruising speed of 140 - 180 km/h, and a maximum continuous flight time of over 24 hours.

VU MALE has a length of 8.5 m, wingspan of 17 m; maximum take-off weight of 1.5 tons; maximum payload weight of 500 kg

VU MALE has a flat wing design with a V-tail. The fuselage is made of ultra-light, sturdy materials that allow the vehicle to operate in a variety of weather conditions.

With the characteristics of long-term operation and large operating distance, UAVs stand out in their ability to perform missions on many types of terrain, from mainland, border to sea, island and complex meteorological conditions.

The UAV products introduced by Viettel at the exhibition are all technology mastered, researched, developed and manufactured 100% domestically by the group. They have been tested and put into practical training. This is considered a breakthrough in the Vietnamese defense industry in recent times.
