According to plan, the Vietnamese women's U20 team will train in Hanoi until July 10, then move to Japan for training (from July 11 to 21).
Coach Okiyama Masahiki “We aim to play many matches against stronger and older teams in Japan. Absorbing the strengths of Japanese women's football is our goal in this training camp,” said Ms.
From August 6 to 10 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the Vietnam U20 women's team will compete in the 2026 Asian U20 Women's Qualifiers against opponents Kyzgyrstan, Hong Kong (China) and Singapore.
Coach Okiyama Masahiki said: “The team is determined and trying their best to pass the qualifying round. A month of training from Hanoi to Japan is the basis for the players to improve their tactics and playing style.
They still need time to continue to improve themselves and in the next 1 to 2 years they will have the opportunity to be called up to the national women's team."
