According to updated data from 68 communes and wards in the western region of Dak Lak province (formerly Dak Lak province), as of the afternoon of July 10, construction of 6,236 houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province had begun, reaching 85.92% of the plan.

Of these, 5,250 were newly built and 1,150 were repaired; 4,012 were completed (including 3,066 newly built and 946 repaired).

Specifically, out of a total of 6,236 houses that have been started, 140/176 houses for policy families and meritorious people have been completed (36 houses have not been completed because households have withdrawn and households do not have enough land to receive construction funding support, meritorious people have recently passed away...); houses for poor and near-poor households under national target programs are 1,131/1,695 houses and houses for poor and near-poor households from the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses are 4,965/5,387 houses.

Of which, 16 communes and wards have completed 100% of the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality, including: Vu Bon, Ea Kly, Pong Drang, Krong Buk, Krong Pac, Ea H'leo, Ea Drang, Quang Phu, Buon Ma Thuot and Ea Kao wards...; 1 commune exceeded the plan, Krong Bong 76/59.

It is known that after reviewing and adjusting, the total number of households in need and eligible for support to build new and repair houses in communes and wards in the Western region is 7,258.

Thus, in addition to the number of houses that have started construction, there are 633 houses that have not been built (due to not meeting the conditions for construction support, households withdrawing, building houses from other support programs). From now until October 31, 2025, the whole province still has 389 houses that need to be built (including 215 new houses, 174 houses repaired).

Particularly, communes and wards in the eastern region of Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen province) have completed the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses before the province's merger.
