
This morning, July 25, the exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the USD was listed by the State Bank at 25,164 VND/USD, down 2 VND (equivalent to 0.01%) compared to the morning of July 24.
Thus, this is the 4th consecutive day that the exchange rate has been adjusted down.
The reference exchange rate at the State Bank of Vietnam is listed at 23,956-26,372 VND/USD (buy-sell).
According to the prescribed trading band of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate on July 25 is 26,422 VND/USD, the floor exchange rate is 23,906 VND/USD.
At commercial banks, at 10:44 a.m. Vietcombank listed the USD buying and selling rates at 25,950-26,310 VND/USD, down 10 VND for both buying and selling compared to early this morning.
BIDV also updated the listed USD buying and selling rates to 25,940-26,300 VND/USD, down 10-20 VND in both directions compared to early this morning.
Not only did the exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US dollar decrease slightly, the exchange rate of the Chinese Yuan (CNY) at banks also slightly decreased this morning.
The yuan exchange rate, at 10:44 at Vietcombank, was listed at 3,591-3,706 for buying and selling, down 3 dong in both directions compared to early this morning.
BIDV listed the buying and selling rates of Chinese yuan at 3,599-3,697 VND/NDT, down both ways compared to the early morning rates (3,605-3,703 VND/NDT).
