Propaganda about the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and signs to recognize illegal multi-level marketing

On the morning of July 10, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, the Provincial Police, the Market Management Department and the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district to organize a conference to propagate the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and signs of illegal multi-level marketing for officials, civil servants and people in Hoang Hoa district.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Phung Dinh Anh said that the contents disseminated at the conference will contribute to creating a new shift in people's awareness of the role, benefits and effectiveness of participating in the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; at the same time, updating legal information related to multi-level sales, effectively implementing the work of protecting consumer rights.

At the conference, more than 400 state management officials, civil servants and people in Hoang Hoa district were introduced to the contents of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" associated with the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program in the province.

At the same time, the conference disseminated new legal regulations related to multi-level marketing activities; how to distinguish multi-level marketing from other forms of sales; acts of taking advantage of multi-level marketing to make illegal profits and defraud consumers; sanctions and legal risks of individuals who entice and entice people to participate in disguised multi-level marketing activities.

The conference is one of the contents of the Project to improve the effectiveness of State management in multi-level business activities in the period of 2021-2025 in Thanh Hoa province.

Through the conference, we aim to raise awareness and mobilize the participation of all classes of people in responding to the Campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods”, developing OCOP products. At the same time, we help people promptly update knowledge about multi-level marketing, identify illegal multi-level marketing tricks to avoid unfortunate risks that may occur during the process of buying and selling goods.
