Exciting OCOP Agricultural Products Festival and Culinary Culture

On the afternoon of August 25, the Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Kan province organized the "OCOP Agricultural Products and Culinary Culture Festival of 6 Viet Bac Provinces" in 2024, with 70 booths divided into 2 areas: Booth area for displaying, promoting and introducing products; booth area for culinary culture of 6 Viet Bac provinces and localities in Bac Kan province.

OCOP Agricultural Products Festival and Culinary Culture of 6 Viet Bac Provinces in 2024 in Bac Kan city where people and tourists can experience and enjoy the famous regional culinary flavors at the festival, choose OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, and typical products of 6 Viet Bac provinces such as vermicelli, sticky rice, wild bitter melon tea, honey, dried pho, dried vermicelli, sausage, smoked buffalo meat..., at the same time creating conditions for businesses, cooperatives, rural industrial establishments, production and business establishments of 6 Viet Bac provinces to meet, exchange, interact, learn, share experiences, learn about market information, promote consumption and tourism.

The event aims to introduce and promote OCOP products, typical rural industrial products as well as specialties of 6 Viet Bac provinces to businesses, distributors and a large number of consumers, contributing to promoting the general economic development of Viet Bac provinces in general and Bac Kan province in particular.

Talking to reporters of Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper, Ms. Phan Thi Hue, working at the Department of Science and Technology of Cao Bang province (at the booth introducing products of Cao Bang province), said that she participated in the OCOP Agricultural Products Festival 2024, Cao Bang province brought many quality OCOP products such as Gynostemma pentaphyllum tea, Bao Lac sticky rice, purple indigo tea, wild bitter melon, etc. for people and tourists to experience and use products from. All of these products are grown and produced in Cao Bang province.

Leaders of Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee and Department of Industry and Trade awarded certificates and honored typical enterprises, cooperatives, and IT production establishments at the provincial level in 2024.

On this occasion, Bac Kan province organized the awarding of certificates and honoring 27 typical provincial-level rural industrial products in 2024 to 24 enterprises, cooperatives, and production establishments in Bac Kan province, honoring products with high quality and value, potential for production development, market expansion, meeting the tastes of domestic and foreign consumers to continue supporting production development, trade promotion; contributing to promoting the development of rural industry in the province.
