Tuan Dao: A business supports 32 million VND for households that suffered heavy damage due to floods.

The flood that occurred on August 21st caused severe damage in Tuan Dao commune. The transportation system was cut off; many rural traffic works, schools, and cultural houses were eroded and severely damaged. More than 100 households had their houses flooded; about 40 hectares of rice, corn, aquatic products, forestry trees, and many other valuable assets were damaged.

Representatives of businesses and local authorities presented gifts to support people who suffered heavy losses due to storms and floods.

The local Party Committee, government and people are making great efforts to overcome the consequences of the floods. However, due to the mountainous area, steep terrain, and many rocky mountains; where ethnic minorities live in difficult circumstances, overcoming the damage requires the joint efforts of all levels, sectors, business communities and philanthropists.

Here, Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, Director of Vinh Quang Minerals Limited Company, presented 32 million VND in support to households that suffered heavy losses in the recent flood.

Of which, the enterprise supported 10 million VND for Mr. Phun Van Tho's household whose house was severely damaged by landslides; the remaining 6 households each received 2 million VND.

Representative of Tuan Dao Commune People's Committee received support from benefactors.

In addition to the amount given directly to the households, the remaining 10 million VND was authorized by the enterprise to the Commune Fatherland Front Committee to support families affected by floods and facing difficult circumstances in the coming time.

This is a noble gesture, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and support, contributing to helping people in the commune reduce difficulties and soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
