The Hanoi Department of Education and Training is urgently resolving the transfer of schools and tasks related to scores and transcripts for more than 50 first-grade students of Thang Long International Primary School (Bill Gates School Education System) because the school recruited students for the 2024-2025 school year without approval from the management agency.
According to parents, the school did not have an approved enrollment quota for the 2024-2025 school year but still enrolled students. Many parents did not know about this and sent their children to study here. At the end of the school year, they were shocked to learn that their children did not have student identification numbers or scores in the industry data system.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Thang Long International Primary School will be under the management of the People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training of Hoang Mai District. Currently, the school is under the management of Dinh Cong Ward.

Hanoi will strictly handle schools that violate enrollment regulations and support students who were illegally enrolled in the previous school year to transfer schools.
Receiving information about the incident, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training had a direct meeting with representatives of the People's Committee of Dinh Cong ward to grasp the situation and agree on a solution.
To ensure the learning rights of students, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training instructed Dinh Cong ward to request parents of students of the school to contact public primary schools in the area such as Dinh Cong Primary School, Dai Kim Primary School, Dai Tu Primary School... or other schools according to their wishes to submit transfer applications.
At this time, most students have transferred schools to prepare for grade 2.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said it will strictly handle any unit that commits violations in enrollment.
