On August 21 and 22, the Party Committee of An Bien commune (An Giang province) held the first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Speaking at the congress, comrade Pham Hoang Nam requested the Party Committee of An Bien commune to continue to build and rectify the Party and the political system to be clean and strong; promote potentials and strengths, identify key and breakthrough tasks to turn An Bien into a fairly developed commune of the province; combine economic development with culture and society, ensure social security, improve people's lives; maintain national defense - security, and social order. At the same time, perfect the organization and staff and soon put the congress resolution into practice with the spirit of clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, and clear results.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee on appointing and supplementing the Executive Committee of the An Bien Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the An Bien Commune Party Committee has 28 members, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee has 10 members. Comrade Tran Chien Thang was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the An Bien Commune Party Committee agreed on 14 development targets, including striving for a total state budget revenue of VND 177.22 billion; an average economic growth rate of 10%/year or more; and a total social investment capital of VND 9,145 billion.

By 2030, the average income per capita is expected to reach 91 million VND/year; the poverty rate according to the multidimensional poverty standard will decrease to below 2.96%; the rate of trained workers will reach 79%. Each year, 1,000 new jobs will be created, maintaining the unemployment rate below 3%.

Regarding Party building work, strive to have 90% of grassroots party organizations and party members fulfill their tasks well every year; the rate of mass mobilization into socio-political organizations reaches 65% or more...
