Exhibition of achievements in building national defense

The exhibition area of ​​achievements in building the People's Armed Forces and building the National Defense is a space full of historical significance.

On December 19, at Gia Lam Airport (Long Bien District, Hanoi), the Vietnam International Defense Expo 2024 was solemnly opened. The exhibition will last for 4 days, until December 22, 2024. This activity is held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024). The Department of Economics was assigned by the Ministry of National Defense to preside over the implementation of the Exhibition Area of ​​achievements in building the People's Armed Forces and building the National Defense at the exhibition. The exhibition area is organized to contribute to widely propagating to the entire army, the entire people and international friends about the glorious tradition as well as the achievements gained in the 80-year journey of building and growing of the Vietnam People's Army and the national defense.

The exhibition area introduces to international friends the 80-year tradition and achievements of the Vietnam People's Army in performing three functions and tasks: combat - work - production labor. Thereby contributing to strengthening international cooperation, promoting the transfer of advanced scientific and technological advances, as well as promoting and introducing products and brands of military units and enterprises to the world. The exhibition area is designed with a tight layout, summarizing typical events and milestones in the 80-year journey of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Army. This is a space full of historical significance, helping to effectively convey the message of tradition and military strength, contributing to arousing national pride in the hearts of all generations. The exhibition area has a scale of 7,000 m² with many functional subdivisions.

The application of many advanced modern technologies such as interactive touch screens, 3D Mapping models, holograms, VR virtual reality and sound and light effects creates a vivid and intuitive space... The space for businesses and ministries, departments and branches is designed with a technology tree symbol placed in the center, seamlessly connecting with booths to promote and introduce typical economic - defense products, dual-use products, science and technology applications and digital transformation solutions...
