At the opening ceremony of the tournament this morning, many benefactors, representatives of units and companies supporting the tournament were present. The benefactors directly donated a total of 150 million VND to help 50 orphaned students under the program "Going on with life with children". Each child was given 3 million VND in cash to help cover their study expenses.

Of this amount of 150 million VND, Mr. Pham Huu Phu, Deputy Director of Sacombank Long Khanh branch donated 60 million VND; Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association (YBA) donated 25 million VND; Ms. Van, Nga market in Ho Chi Minh City donated 50 million VND; the group of readers: Pham Van Sy, Le Hoang Tu, Duong Trung Dung, Nguyen Viet Thang, Nguyen Thi Thu Hang donated 15 million VND.

The pickleball tournament 'Continue your life with your children' is a non-profit tournament, together carrying out charity goals. The first tournament was held in Nha Trang ( Khanh Hoa ) in November 2024 - supporting 100 million VND for orphans. The second tournament took place in April 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City - donating 112 million VND to orphans and this third time, the tournament took place at DSP Long Khanh Stadium, Long Khanh City, Dong Nai, directly donating 150 million VND in cash and many meaningful gifts to orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Non-profit pickleball tournament, together to achieve charity goals
Launched on September 16, 2021, the program "Continue Life with Children" launched by Thanh Nien Newspaper aims to provide long-term care and sponsorship for orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic when they unfortunately lose their father, mother, or both parents due to the pandemic.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 3rd "Continuing Life with Children" pickleball tournament this morning, journalist Duc Trung, Editor-in-Chief, Permanent Vice President of the Thanh Nien Newspaper Journalists Association, said that as of January 2025, the total amount of long-term sponsorship, emergency grants and scholarships for children orphaned by Covid-19 through the "Continuing Life with Children" program was 64.5 billion VND. Of which, emergency support for children after the pandemic had just passed was 4.3 billion VND. Scholarships and other activities (organizing for children to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, summer travel, health check-ups, lucky money, Children's Day, giving gifts at the beginning of the new school year...) were 2.7 billion VND and long-term sponsorship for 444 children was 57.5 billion VND.
In addition to taking care of the children's material needs, the program "Continuing Life with Children" also takes care of their spiritual lives, so that they can soon overcome the circumstances and shocks in their lives when they lose their beloved shoulder after the Covid-19 pandemic.
"I am very moved to stand here and witness the affection, material and spiritual care for orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic from philanthropists. I would like to sincerely thank the units that have joined hands, stood shoulder to shoulder with Thanh Nien Newspaper, and organized the meaningful pickleball tournament "Continue Life with Children" for the third time so that more orphans can be cared for and supported," said journalist Duc Trung.
At the program, Mr. Vo Dai Khoi, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association, representing trusted companions, also shared meaningful words about the 3rd "Continue Life with Children" pickleball tournament, and sent wishes for good health and good study to the orphans.
