At the end of the first round of the competition (September 2024), the Organizing Committee judged and selected 9 individuals and units to win the Competition to Learn about the Traditions of the Industry and Trade Sector.
According to the Organizing Committee, implementing Plan No. 23-KH/BCSĐ dated August 13, 2024 of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Organizing the Competition to learn about the traditions of the Industry and Trade sector. At the end of the first round of the competition (September 2024) in the form of an online competition, the Organizing Committee has judged and selected the winning individuals and units including: 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 3 units with active participation.
Accordingly, recently, the Organizing Committee has awarded prizes to 9 individuals and units that won the first round of the Industry and Trade Sector Traditions Competition (September). The awarding methods include: Direct and indirect (sending certificates by post ) to individuals and units receiving the prizes.
According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, after more than 1 month of launching and officially implementing the contest from September 1 to September 30, according to the Organizing Committee's statistics, there were 2,801 people participating in the contest.
In particular, responding to the contest, many units in the entire Industry and Trade sector participated very actively. In particular, the Organizing Committee recognized the enthusiastic participation of many local Departments of Industry and Trade as well as many universities and colleges of the Industry and Trade sector across provinces and cities.
The Organizing Committee recognized the University of Economics and Industrial Technology, the University of Electricity and the Viet Tri University of Industry as the most active participants in the first round of the online contest. The University of Economics and Industrial Technology alone had thousands of members participating in the contest.

Sharing his feelings after receiving the award as one of the three units actively participating in the first phase, Mr. Chu Van Tuan - Head of the Center for Communications and Business Relations, University of Electricity - said that, implementing the direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, after receiving the official dispatch from the Ministry, the school's leaders organized the implementation and assigned relevant units to seriously implement it.
"The award is a great source of spiritual encouragement for the school's leaders, lecturers, civil servants, employees, trainees and students to continue to participate more actively in learning about the industry's traditions through the next competitions, in order to spread and contribute to the success of the competition," said Mr. Tuan.
According to the representative of the University of Electricity, the contest has a very profound meaning, not only helping to improve historical knowledge but also helping to educate the younger generations, students and trainees in studying, preserving and promoting the good values of the tradition of the Industry and Trade sector. At the same time, mobilizing consensus, collective spirit, a unified bloc in the whole industry to learn and contribute to the development of the Industry and Trade sector.

Previously, in order for the contest to receive the response and active participation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies and units under the Industry and Trade sector, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade launched a movement to agencies and units under the sector to respond and participate in the contest.
The contest was launched to honor traditional values, promote the position and stature of the Industry and Trade sector in the process of formation, construction and development since its inception; contribute to educating traditions, arousing the pride of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Industry and Trade sector.
At the same time, raise public awareness of the role and importance of the Industry and Trade sector to the country's socio-economic development; raise the awareness of the whole society about the activities of the Industry and Trade sector, thereby gaining social consensus and people's attention for the development of the Industry and Trade sector; encourage creativity and participation of all classes of people in learning and contributing to the development of the Industry and Trade sector.
