Implementing the program to support production development in the agricultural sector under Project 3 - National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thanh Son district has just awarded livestock breeds to support livelihoods for poor households, near-poor households, newly escaped poverty households and good production and business households of Kha Cuu commune.

Thanh Son District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development handed over breeding animals to each household and inspected the breeding conditions.

With a total budget of over 2.8 billion VND, of which the State budget supported 95%, the remaining 5% was contributed by the people, 102 breeding pigs and pigs raised for meat were given to 34 poor and near-poor households...

Before receiving the breed, households were instructed by experts on breeding techniques, how to build barns, prepare food, and how to treat some common diseases.

The program of donating breeding animals and raising them for meat to help people escape poverty is a practical and effective activity, contributing to supporting means of production, creating conditions for poor households to develop a sustainable economy and stabilize their lives.
