In the 66th minute of the match between Ha Tinh and Thanh Hoa in round 3 of V.League 2025/26, when the home team was temporarily leading 1-0, an unusual incident suddenly occurred. The entire lighting system at Ha Tinh Stadium simultaneously went out, plunging the atmosphere in the stadium into darkness. The referee was immediately forced to pause the match to wait for the problem to be fixed.

According to initial information, the cause was determined to be the impact of the storm that just swept through the Central region. Heavy rain and strong winds caused the electrical system at the stadium to operate intermittently, leading to an unavoidable power outage.

Before the incident, the match was fast-paced and quite exciting. Ha Tinh took advantage of their home field advantage to pressure their opponents, then concretized the game with the opening goal in the 44th minute by foreign player Atshimene Charles, creating an early advantage for coach Nguyen Cong Manh and his team.
