On the afternoon of January 19, in Hanoi, on the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025, General Secretary To Lam visited and wished former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh a Happy New Year.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary To Lam respectfully thanked former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh for his constant attention, monitoring, and contributions of many dedicated ideas to the Party and State in the past time. On the occasion of the New Year, the General Secretary wished him and his family a new year of good health, happiness, and success.

Highly appreciating the results that the country has achieved in recent times, former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh believes that in the coming time, entering a new era of national growth, our country will achieve even greater new achievements under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On the same afternoon, General Secretary To Lam came to burn incense in memory of President Tran Dai Quang at his private home.

Respectfully lighting incense sticks to commemorate President Tran Dai Quang, a close, open, modest and devoted leader; a brave, confident and humane President, always devoted to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation and the happiness of the people. General Secretary To Lam expressed his respect for his contributions and vowed to unite with the entire Party, people and army to continue to build Vietnam to develop more and more sustainably, firmly entering a new era of the nation./.
