According to information from the 116 rescue team, on the afternoon of July 26, Quang Ninh authorities and the 116 rescue team found a body suspected to be the last victim of the capsized boat in Quang Ninh .
Initial information, at around 2:15 p.m. on July 26, people at sea discovered a male body floating in the area behind Hang Trong, near Conservation Center 2, under the Ha Long Bay Management Board, suspected to be a victim in the capsized ship Vinh Xanh 58.
Immediately after receiving the report from the people, the forces of Ha Long Bay Management Board proceeded to protect the scene.
Rescue forces of Quang Ninh province quickly moved to the scene to recover the body and bring it to Bai Chay Hospital to conduct identification procedures through DNA samples.
Previously, on the afternoon of July 19, while the tourist ship Blue Bay 58, number QN48-7105, was visiting route 2 on Ha Long Bay, it suddenly encountered a storm that caused the ship to capsize.
The accident killed 49 people on board (46 passengers, 3 crew members). Only 10 people were lucky to survive. 38 bodies were found and handed over to their families.
