Hung Dien Commune Police returned property to the person who lost it.
At around 8:00 a.m. on July 23, while performing a crime prevention patrol with the Commune Police Working Group (on the route from Ca Bat Bridge to Kenh T7 Bridge, Nga Tu Hamlet, Hung Dien Commune), Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, a member of the grassroots security force, picked up a dark blue wallet with the letter "NK" printed on it.
Immediately after that, Mr. Tai reported to the patrol team and proceeded to check the wallet. Inside the wallet were personal documents including a citizen ID card, an ATM card and nearly 4.6 million VND in cash.
After verification, Hung Dien Commune Police quickly contacted and returned all assets to Ms. Tran Thi Kieu (the person who lost the wallet).
It is known that Ms. Kieu is a worker in Ho Chi Minh City, and is on a family visit. Receiving her property back, Ms. Kieu expressed her joy and emotion and sent her sincere thanks to the Hung Dien Commune Police, especially Mr. Nguyen Van Tai.
Mr. Tai’s actions demonstrate the sense of responsibility of the force participating in maintaining security and order in the locality. At the same time, it contributes to spreading the beautiful image of the police officer “Serving the People”./.
