According to Mr. Nguyen Van Viet, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Cong Tien Garment Joint Stock Company (Go Cong City), in addition to ensuring policies and regimes according to regulations, the company always focuses on improving working conditions, building a green - clean - beautiful space, creating a safe working environment for employees. Every year, the company organizes periodic health check-ups for workers according to regulations, and at the same time maintains a Fund to support workers in difficult circumstances. Each year, this fund mobilizes over 100 million VND.
In addition, officers and employees of Cong Tien Garment Joint Stock Company also contributed more than 200 million VND to the "Trade Union Shelter" Fund. From this fund, during the year, the company built and repaired houses, helping workers in especially difficult circumstances. At the same time, the company's grassroots Trade Union coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize many cultural and sports activities to improve the spiritual life of workers.
With these efforts, Cong Tien Garment Joint Stock Company has achieved the title of excellent performance for many consecutive years and has been proposed to receive the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) and the People's Committee of Tien Giang province.
At Hansae TG Co., Ltd. (Tan Huong Industrial Park, Chau Thanh District), more than 4,000 workers are working in an environment with many good welfare policies. The company not only ensures nutritious lunches and overtime meals, but also supports meal money in monthly salaries. Each year, workers are provided with three sets of uniforms and two pairs of protective sandals. The company also applies the CIQ system, providing personal accounts for workers to update information and reflect opinions promptly, contributing to improving labor relations. In addition to social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance, the company also purchases 24/24 accident insurance for workers; at the same time, coordinates with the grassroots trade union to organize activities to care for workers' lives.
On holidays and Tet, Hansae TG Co., Ltd. organizes many meaningful programs such as sports, tourism, teambuilding or the program "Spring of Solidarity - Tet of Love". The company's grassroots union also supports each union member in difficulty with 300,000 VND, organizes lucky draws at each factory, and supports bus tickets for workers to return home for Tet.
In particular, the 13th month salary bonus and Lunar New Year bonus each year based on seniority can be up to 2.3 million VND/person. Every year, the company's grassroots union spends about 2 billion VND to give gifts to workers on holidays and Tet, and to visit and support workers in difficulty, illness, etc.
In addition, the company's grassroots trade union also coordinates with the Board of Directors to organize cultural and sports activities, creating a healthy playground for workers and actively participating in movements launched by the higher-level trade union.
With the motto "Employees are the most valuable asset", enterprises in Tien Giang constantly improve welfare, improve working conditions, contribute to creating a connection between enterprises and workers, towards a harmonious and sustainable working environment.
CONTINUE TO IMPROVE WORKERS' LIFE
In recent times, the Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor has carried out many practical activities to protect the rights and care for the material and spiritual lives of workers and laborers.

In 2024, all levels of the provincial Union organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing", organized cultural and artistic activities, meetings "Celebrating the Party - Celebrating Spring"... Thereby, helping union members, workers and laborers relax, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere before returning home to celebrate Tet with their families.
In addition, the Union at all levels organized activities to care for and coordinate with authorities at all levels, unit leaders, and employers to care for 131,659 union members, workers, and laborers with a total budget of over 43,269 billion VND, including cash, gifts, bus tickets, "Union Shelter" houses and other gifts...
On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025 alone, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented gifts to 1,883 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in 3 industrial parks, with a total value of 1.026 billion VND, including cash and Tet gifts. In addition, a lucky draw was organized with a total value of 142 million VND.
In total, the three nights of entertainment mobilized businesses to donate 186 train and bus tickets, worth 46.5 million VND; 9 "Union Warm Homes" houses, worth 450 million VND, and Tet gifts worth 10.6 billion VND to more than 35,000 workers and laborers.
In addition, the 2024 Workers' Month took place enthusiastically and practically with many activities such as: "Workers for Enterprises, Enterprises for Workers"; "Thanking Workers"; Peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; honoring exemplary workers, civil servants and laborers; "Healthy to Work and Produce" program. Activities focused on caring for life, listening to thoughts and aspirations, accompanying workers and enterprises, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations.
In addition, there are also sightseeing, resort, health check-up, culture - sports programs, union market, "Discount Sales Week" with many essential items serving union members, workers and laborers.
At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor actively monitors and protects the rights of workers and laborers, coordinates with competent agencies to resolve labor disputes, especially regarding wages, benefits and social insurance. Unions at all levels closely monitor the thoughts and aspirations of union members, grasp the situation of labor relations; effectively maintain the "Hotline", promote the role of "Shockworker Team", "Self-managed workers' dormitory" in enterprises.
To continue promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on the following main goals: Caring for, representing and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of workers, civil servants and employees. Organizing practical activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members, workers and employees. Continuing to promote the social activities of the Union, participating in mobilizing employees to accompany enterprises in the new situation.
