Prime Minister requests announcement of 10th grade exam plan in February

The Prime Minister requested localities to successfully complete the recruitment plan for junior high school and high school in February.

This content is in the telegram of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent to the Ministry of Education and Training , provinces and cities on February 7.

The Head of Government requested localities to complete the announcement of the secondary and high school enrollment plan for the 2025-2026 school year in February 2025 so that students, teachers, schools, and generaleducation institutions can proactively prepare for enrollment.

The Prime Minister also requested localities to prepare well for organizing enrollment, ensuring transparency, practicality, and reducing pressure and costs for society.

The Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Education and Training to proactively and regularly review and grasp information to promptly amend, supplement and perfect the Regulations on Secondary and High School Admissions; regulations on extra teaching and learning, ensuring suitability with reality and meeting requirements in the new situation.

Thus, some provinces and cities that announced exam subjects at the end of March, such as Hanoi, will have to change their plans to earlier so that parents and students have more time to prepare.

As of February 7, at least 20 provinces and cities have announced or planned a third subject. Except for Vinh Phuc, all provinces have chosen foreign languages or English.
