The exhibition space of the Diplomatic sector includes 3 sub-areas arranged in chronological order and covering all areas of foreign affairs.

On August 13, Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang inspected the preparations for the diplomatic sector's exhibition space at the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme: "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

Listening to the reports of representatives of the units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the construction unit on the progress and content of the exhibition, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang emphasized that this is an important political task and in the context of very little time left, the units need to coordinate closely, proactively and actively implement the construction, installation and supplement the exhibition documents, to ensure that the exhibition booth fully presents the formation and development process of the diplomatic sector over the past 80 years, under the guidance and teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, the first Minister of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic sector has continuously grown, closely coordinated with relevant ministries, departments, branches and localities, made important contributions to the struggle for national independence as well as the construction and development of the country, promoted international integration, enhanced the country's position and influence in the international arena.

The Deputy Minister directed that the Exhibition should demonstrate all three pillars of foreign affairs including Party diplomacy, State diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy, as well as specific areas of foreign affairs such as channel 2 diplomacy, economic diplomacy, cultural diplomacy, territorial borders, overseas Vietnamese, local foreign affairs, citizen protection, foreign information as well as the work of building a comprehensive, professional and modern diplomatic sector.

The content and presentation method need to be interwoven and harmonious between video clips, documentary photos, artifacts as well as new formats such as infographics and interactive activities... to help visitors easily access the content, grasp the message to be conveyed, thereby creating consensus and support from the people at home and international friends for Vietnam's foreign affairs.

Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang requested units to enhance their proactive spirit, be more urgent, and determined to complete the items before August 15, in order to report to the Ministry's leaders and put them into operation according to the assigned plan.

The exhibition space of the Diplomatic sector at the National Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day is expected to include 3 sub-areas arranged in chronological order and covering all areas of foreign affairs.

The space is not only an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day but also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Diplomacy (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).
