Dear comrades!

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces, Military Region 7 (September 4, 1945 - September 4, 2025), on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense , I would like to send my warmest regards and best wishes to all officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers who have worked and are working in the Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces.

Over 80 years of construction, fighting and growth, under the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, directly the Party Committee, the Military Region 7 Command and the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; with the attention and enthusiastic support of the local Party Committee, government and people; the close and effective coordination and cooperation of agencies and units inside and outside the army; generations of officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the Ho Chi Minh City armed forces have promoted the good nature and glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army, the tradition of the land of steel, the citadel of bronze, solidarity, bravery, intelligence and resilience, achieved many outstanding feats in the struggle for national liberation, fighting to protect the southwestern border, being the vanguard in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic; achieved many outstanding achievements in training, combat readiness, building a solid national defense and national defense posture; Participated in maintaining political security, order and social safety in the area; actively contributed to the cause of national liberation, building and firmly defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, was awarded the title of Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State three times and received many noble awards.

I warmly commend and praise the achievements, progress and growth of the Ho Chi Minh City armed forces over the past 80 years. I hope that, entering the new era, you comrades will continue to promote the tradition of "Infinite loyalty, steadfastness, solidarity, discipline, dynamism and creativity, determination to fight and win" of the Heroic Unit, promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The campaign to promote tradition, contribute talents, be worthy of the title "Uncle Ho's soldiers", excellently complete all assigned tasks; build a clean and strong Party organization associated with building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical", contributing with the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, building an increasingly rich and happy country.
