Important notice on matching identity documents and biometric information of legal representative of the organization

VietinBank would like to sincerely thank customers for trusting and using VietinBank's services in the past time.

According to the provisions of Article 17 of Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), from July 1, 2025 , institutional customers will only be allowed to withdraw money and make payment transactions by electronic means on their payment accounts after completing the verification of the identity documents and biometric information of the legal representative.

To avoid interruption in using electronic payment accounts (including VietinBank eFAST, VietinBank ERP, Direct System Connection (H2H/API), Bilateral Payment Connection with the State Treasury/Social Insurance) , VietinBank respectfully requests that Customers promptly verify the identity documents and biometric information of the legal representative at VietinBank before July 1, 2025. After this time, if Customers have not completed the above content, VietinBank will temporarily suspend the provision of payment/withdrawal services for electronic payment accounts to ensure compliance with the regulations of the State Bank.

Instructions:

- Legal representative of the customer using VietinBank eFAST : The legal representative checks the identity documents and biometrics right on the VietinBank eFAST application according to the instructions here or in the attached file .

- The legal representative of the Customer has not used VietinBank eFAST : Please contact the nearest VietinBank transaction point for instructions.
