Many areas in the North and Central regions have moderate to heavy rain.

On the Thao River (Lao Cai), Luc Nam River ( Bac Ninh ), Hoang Long River (Ninh Binh), the downstream of the Ma River (Thanh Hoa) and Ca River (Nghe An), water levels are rising rapidly, with risks of flooding in low-lying areas, flash floods on small rivers and streams and landslides in Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An.

At sea, the tropical convergence zone across the North East Sea connects with the low pressure area east of the Philippines, causing strong winds. At Hon Ngu station (Nghe An), there are gusts of level 8; at Phu Quy station (Binh Thuan), there are strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 7.

In the next 24 hours, the sea area from Binh Thuan to Ho Chi Minh City, the area between the East Sea and the North-South East Sea (including the North of Truong Sa sea area) will have southwest winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves 2-3.5m high, rough seas. Other sea areas such as the Gulf of Tonkin, from Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa sea areas will have scattered thunderstorms, risk of tornadoes, strong gusts of level 6-7.
