Golden time for businesses to reposition their role in the global supply chain

DNVN - When the major powers simultaneously restructure and tend to shift the supply chain, domestic manufacturing enterprises - especially supporting industries - face the opportunity to participate more deeply in the global value chain.

"Import-Export Forum 2025" will be held on August 18

This content will be analyzed at the "2025 Import-Export Forum" organized by Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade ( VietinBank ) on August 18, 2025, with the participation of leading experts in the fields of economics, international trade and supply chain development.

“Import-Export Forum 2025” with the theme “New Strategy in Global Flow” will analyze in depth the key factors for businesses to: Increase the localization rate in production; connect with domestic and regional supply chains; apply technology in supply chain management.

The discussion session will focus on answering the question “How can Vietnamese enterprises become strategic partners in the global supply chain?” from the perspective of leading experts such as Dr. Vo Tri Thanh - Director of the Institute for Brand Strategy and Competitiveness Research; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh - Fulbright University Vietnam and guests from international organizations, business associations, etc.

The program includes 2 in-depth discussion sessions:

Session 1 will focus on policy changes from the United States, affecting businesses and recommending adaptation strategies: from expanding new markets, controlling origin fraud, to transforming import-export models. Warnings on intermediate transshipment, trade risk assessments and perspectives from international experts will be presented frankly.

Session 2 expands the vision to the group of manufacturing enterprises - especially the supporting industry in seizing opportunities to deeply integrate into the global supply chain, take advantage of shifting investment capital flows, increase the localization rate and standardize origin criteria according to the requirements of multinational corporations.

One of the important highlights of the program is the live Q&A session between businesses and policy experts, market experts, representatives of industry associations and businesses. Businesses ask specific questions about their problems to receive practical suggestions right at the event.
