On the occasion of the 702nd death anniversary of historian Le Van Huu and the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30), and the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1), from April 29 to May 2, Thieu Hoa district will organize many meaningful activities.

Accordingly, on the morning of April 29 (ie March 21 of the lunar calendar), at the National Historical and Cultural Relic Site of the Temple of Historian Le Van Huu, incense and flower offering activities will be held (at the tomb of Le Van Huu).
On the morning of May 1 (ie March 23 of the lunar calendar), the Le Van Huu Temple Festival was held with a procession, reading of congratulatory messages, sacrifices and speeches on the 702nd anniversary of the death of historian Le Van Huu.

On this occasion, Thieu Hoa district will also organize cultural, artistic, physical education, sports activities and games, performances to celebrate the Le Van Huu Temple Festival, including: Volleyball Tournament of Clubs, Le Van Huu Cup for the 2nd time in Thieu Hoa district in 2024 on April 29 at the yard of Thieu Trung Commune People's Committee. Final round of the Homeland Melody Singing Festival "Thieu Hoa - Echo of Bronze Drum" on the evening of April 30 at Thieu Hoa district gymnasium. Organizing the launching of the Founding Board of the Le Van Huu Scholarship Fund. Fair introducing Tra Dong traditional bronze casting products, OCOP products, typical agricultural products of Thieu Hoa district in 2024 with 80 booths, taking place from April 29 to May 2.
Also on this occasion, on the morning of April 29, Thieu Hoa district will hold the inauguration ceremony of the Ba Che bypass road (Thieu Hoa town to Thieu Trung commune); announce the technical opening of the expressway intersection in Thieu Hoa district and break ground for the project to upgrade and renovate provincial road 506B, from the intersection of National Highway 45 to the intersection connecting National Highway 45-47-217 in Thieu Ngoc commune.

According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Tung, Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Thieu Hoa district, the activities to celebrate the 702nd anniversary of the death of Historian Le Van Huu will be organized in a solemn, practical, safe and economical manner, in accordance with regulations; creating an exciting and trusting atmosphere, arousing the spirit of patriotic emulation among all classes of people.
