According to Allkpop , 2025 witnessed the strong rise of The Black Label - the company founded by legendary producer Teddy. No longer the name behind BlackPink's success, The Black Label is now asserting its independent position with strategic and effective moves.
While Allday Project has been rocking the charts in less than two weeks of its release, K-pop group Demon Hunters ' music has made experts reconsider the global influence of Korean music .
The Black Label's half year of great success
The "landing" called The Black Label began on June 23, when the mixed group Allday Project officially debuted. With a bold concept and diverse lineup, the group quickly attracted attention from both audiences and experts.
The group gathers prominent names such as Shinsegae Group's "daughter" Annie, contestant of the survival show RU Next?, dancers, models... Right from the lineup, the group clearly expressed their ambition to shape a new generation of idols, both diverse in color and solid in talent.

After only 4 days of release, the debut single Famous created a big bang when it climbed straight to number 1 on the Melon Top 100 chart. Not stopping there, on July 3, exactly 10 days after its release, Allday Project won their first win on M Countdown, a rare achievement for a rookie.
Along with the success of Allday Project, The Black Label continues to stir up the K-pop soundtrack album Demon Hunters released on June 28.
The soundtrack was produced by an in-house production team of Teddy, Kush, 24, Vince, ido, and Danny Chung, and features fictional K-pop groups Huntrix and Saja Boys. The choreography for Saja Boys was also choreographed by dancer Leejung, who is part of The Black Label.

The results stunned the industry. The soundtrack debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, while Golden entered the Hot 100 at No. 23. On Spotify, Your Idol even reached No. 1 on the Daily Top Songs chart in the United States.
Success is predictable
However, it wasn't until this year that The Black Label really made its appearance on the K-pop map.
The company’s momentum was already well under way, with girl group MEOVV taking their first win on M Countdown in April with the Brazilian funk hit “ Hands Up .” The song dominated the Melon Hot 100 chart, establishing MEOVV as a force to be reckoned with in the new generation of idols.

In March 2025, the girl group from the survival show I-land 2: N/a IZNA also brought home their first trophy on SBS M's The Show with the song Sign , a song entirely produced by Teddy.
According to Allkpop , this string of successes comes from a clear change in the company's strategy. Unlike the mysterious early stages of MEOVV, The Black Label is now moving towards a more open and fan-focused strategy.
Allday Project is built on both mass appeal and outstanding talent, while other artists are promoted through diverse digital content, increasing engagement. In addition, Teddy's hip-hop and R&B music continues to conquer domestic and international audiences.

"After BlackPink exploded globally, the international market began to see Teddy's sound as a signature 'brand' of K-pop. The Demon Hunters K-pop soundtrack further solidified that position," an industry insider told Allkpop .
Continuing the winning streak, Jeon Somi returned with the new single Extra, marking her first comeback in a year. On July 11, BlackPink returned with Jump , a song produced by Teddy and 24.
In just the first 24 hours, Jump reached the top 1 spot on iTunes in 47 countries, and also topped the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart. In the US, the song reached the top 3 position, and in the top 4 in the UK, proving the group's undiminished global appeal and the undeniable quality of the music from "witch" Teddy.
