Joining the joyful atmosphere of students nationwide welcoming the new school year, this morning (September 5), Chieng So Primary School, Chieng So commune, held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) and open the 2025-2026 school year. In late July and early August, floods caused heavy damage to people and property in Chieng So commune, including damage to many items at the Dua Cat village school and Chieng So Primary School. With the timely attention and support of all levels and sectors, along with the efforts of teachers and students, the school has overcome difficulties, ensured facilities, and is ready to welcome students to the new school year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Chieng So Primary School focuses on improving teaching and learning; comprehensively innovating management work; promoting the spirit of self-study, self-improvement, and professional development in each teacher. The school has 163 excellent student competitions at all levels, including 7 provincial-level, 63 district-level, and 93 school-level competitions; 19 teachers have achieved the title of excellent teachers at all levels; 2 scientific research initiatives have been recognized for effective application...

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province presented gifts to the school; Comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, presented 1,000 gifts to students of Chieng So commune; Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company, Hai Phong Branch presented teaching and learning equipment worth 200 million VND.
