Lighting up Da Nang through “Creative Art”

On the evening of June 7, hundreds of thousands of people turned their eyes to the night sky of Da Nang to enjoy the "Creative Art" performance between team Z121 Vina Pyrotech, the second representative of the Vietnamese team, and team Surex Firma Rodzinna from Poland.

In the second competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, team Z121 Vina Pyrotech, the second representative of the Vietnamese team, presented a top-notch performance called "Aspiration to Rise", elaborately staged with 5 chapters, evoking a journey of Da Nang from the past to the present and towards the future.

The bustling opening, multi-colored fireworks burst to the rhythm of the vibrant music, painting the sky with vibrant and modern colors, depicting a youthful, constantly breaking through Da Nang. Next is the warm yellow color, combined with the effect of fireworks slowly blooming and falling softly like falling stars, bringing the audience into the old memories. Like a slow-motion film, the performance evokes a Da Nang that was once a bustling trading center of the 17th century, welcoming sails from all over the world .

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee, Head of DIFF 2025 Organizing Committee, presented commemorative medals to representatives of the two competing teams.

The climax was when the sky of Da Nang was brilliant in the light of the red flag with yellow star of the Fatherland, along with the image of purple lotus flowers blooming in the air. The melody "As if Uncle Ho was here on the day of great victory" resounded amidst the audience's endless applause, bringing a sacred moment to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country and the Liberation of Da Nang.

Rarely has a performance at DIFF made the audience sing out loud and join in with every beat of emotion. A performance that was highly appreciated for its emotion, technique and artistic depth.

Meanwhile, the inspiration from the Dragon Bridge seems to have not yet run out for the Surex Firma Rodzinna team from Poland.

Once again, after “The Legend of the Dragon” at DIFF 2024, Polish gunners continue to write the story from the legendary animal. And this time, “Dragon Love” continues to leave an extremely sublime Polish mark, making the audience watching fireworks feel like they are watching a mythical movie.

Epic symphonies such as Prophecy, The Power of Love to love songs Dark Side Story, Epilogue, blend with unique fireworks effects. Spiral fireworks, high-altitude fireworks and cool blue, silver, purple effects seem to take the audience down to the deep ocean, where the dragon Draco dives under the water. And when the music changes to a gentle, poetic rhythm, the fireworks bloom in a fan shape, the golden and orange light seems to reflect the moonlight on the scales of Luna, the fire dragon.

In particular, the climax of the song God of Lighting was used by the team to create a spectacular scene: fireworks were fired simultaneously from many points, forming a strip of light, symbolizing the moment Draco and Luna joined forces to create the Dragon Bridge in Da Nang. Each beat of the drum and each note of the music were in sync with the movement of the fireworks, giving the feeling that each explosion was also "dancing" to the music , making the audience admire.

The creative performance of the Polish team truly touched the hearts of the audience, with a beautiful message about love and aspiration to overcome all differences, just like the spirit that DIFF always aims for.

New artistic breeze at the stage by the Han River

The second competition night of DIFF 2025 brought an impressive "grand concert" by the Han River with the participation of many young artists such as Tang Duy Tan, violinist Trinh Minh Hien, singer Muoi... and hundreds of domestic and international artists.

The vibrant, youthful and “trendy” songs created an attractive art party on the banks of the Han River. The innovation in the selection of artists, song list and stage choreography of this year’s DIFF has brought a fresh and impressive breeze to DIFF 2025.

“Nguoi Viet” by Nam Son, Hoang Long, Trung Vuong Dance Group and MTE Dance Group has a modern spirit, staged as a modern declaration of Vietnamese identity.
