Candidates participating in civil servant recruitment in Hue city in 2024

Candidates must meet the following conditions: Vietnamese nationality, 18 years of age or older, residing in Vietnam; have good political and moral qualities, good health and be suitable for the job requirements. Those who have lost civil capacity, are being prosecuted for criminal liability or are subject to administrative sanctions... are not allowed to participate in the recruitment.

The civil service exam will take place in two rounds. Round 1 is a multiple-choice test on a computer, including general knowledge and foreign languages. Candidates who score 50% or more correct answers for each section will be eligible to take round 2. Round 2 includes a written test on a computer (70 questions) and a face-to-face interview, testing professional knowledge, situational handling skills, communication skills and public service performance.

Admission scores are calculated on a 100-point scale, with the essay accounting for 70% and the interview accounting for 30%. Successful candidates must score at least 50 points in each test and have a higher total score in order of quota. Some policy beneficiaries such as war invalids, children of martyrs, ethnic minorities, soldiers who have completed their service, etc. will receive priority points according to regulations.

Candidates submit their application forms directly to the Department of Home Affairs (18 Nguyen Sinh Sac, Hue City) from August 20 to September 18, 2025, during office hours. Each candidate can only apply for one recruitment position. The results of the selection will be announced on the Department of Home Affairs' electronic information portal, after which candidates will complete their application within 20 days.
