During the 2025 high school graduation exam registration session, 41,068 candidates completed the registration procedures, 509 candidates did not complete the registration procedures. On the morning of June 26, 40,876 candidates took the Literature exam, accounting for 99.16% of the total number of candidates registered for the exam, and were arranged to take the exam in 1,801 exam rooms.
Thanh Hoa City has nearly 4,300 candidates registered to take the exam at 9 exam locations. Candidate Trinh Dai Hoang in Dong Ve Ward, Thanh Hoa City took the exam at Dao Duy Tu High School and confided: With the Literature subject, I was interested in the social argumentation test talking about no distinction between regions, every land is my homeland, my Fatherland. I did well in the reading comprehension and argumentation sections, I am satisfied with the results of the test and hope that with the high school graduation exam results, I can register and be admitted to the university major in communications that I love.
On the same afternoon, 40,523 candidates took the Math exam in 1,790 exam rooms at 85 exam locations, reaching 99.14% of the candidates registered for the exam. Belonging to the Youth Union of the University of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, volunteer Nguyen Thi Thuy shared that she had joined former Lam Son students in Yen Khuong border commune, Lang Chanh district to build concrete roads and the yard of the Bon village Cultural House. This year, Thuy continued to join the volunteer youth team to "support the exam season" and believed in looking after things, distributing bottles of drinking water, and fanning, contributing to "cooling down" the heat, and encouraging candidates to do well in the exams.
According to the Examination Council of the Departmentof Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province, all examination locations have facilities to ensure good organization of the examination. On the first day of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, no candidate violated the examination regulations; the invigilators performed their functions and duties properly. Security and order inside and outside the examination area were ensured; 697 candidates were absent from the Literature and Mathematics exams.
