It is forecasted that due to the impact of storm No. 5, Thanh Hoa province will have moderate, heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms from the night of August 24 to August 27. Total rainfall in the mountainous areas of the North and Northwest is generally from 100 - 200mm, in some places over 250mm; in the coastal plains and mountainous areas of the West and Southwest from 200 - 350mm, in some places over 400mm.
