Tam Thanh Temple, Thach Binh Commune.
The historical relic of the Holy Mother Temple is located on Nghe Hill, Kim Son Village - a place for religious and cultural activities of local people and tourists from all over. Legend has it that in An Do Village (now Kim Son Village), Mr. Cun Du's family had a daughter named Nga, who was both talented and beautiful. She had many contributions to help the people develop production and was awarded the title "Thuy Tinh Princess, Xich Y Chi Than" by the Nguyen Dynasty King. After Nga passed away, to commemorate her merits, the villagers built a temple and honored her as the Holy Mother. During the resistance war against the US, the Holy Mother Temple became a shelter for soldiers and students of Vinh University.
According to the elders in the commune, it is not known when the temple was built, but through historical events and human impacts, the temple was seriously damaged, and many valuable artifacts and documents in the temple were lost. In 2008, with the attention of the State and the people in the commune, the temple was restored and embellished. With its unique values, on January 30, 2015, the Provincial People's Committee recognized the temple as a provincial historical relic. In 2018 and 2020, the temple continued to be restored and embellished with funds from the State and the people. Currently, the temple is restored and embellished, meeting the expectations of the people in the commune.
Every year, on the 15th day of the third lunar month, Thach Binh commune organizes the Holy Mother Temple Festival, attracting a large number of people and visitors from all over the country. The festival is an opportunity for everyone to pray for favorable weather, peace and happiness for every family.
