Carrying out the task of guiding, monitoring, inspecting, and supervising the implementation of the Party's policies and guidelines on proactively responding to climate change, on August 26, the working delegation led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thanh Dat attended the Seminar "Introducing the sustainable high-tech agricultural model of Agris and the Project on modernization and digitalization of agriculture on the ESG and data platform".

According to comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, "environment" is one of the core factors ensuring sustainable development, therefore, over the years, our Party and State have always been consistent in the viewpoint that socio -economic development must be associated with environmental protection.

At the seminar, delegates frankly exchanged and discussed the following contents: results of implementing the "three-house" cooperation and association model (State-Scientist-Enterprise) in solving practical problems of enterprises and localities; difficulties and obstacles in developing production and business activities associated with resource management and environmental protection; assessing opportunities and challenges for production and business activities linking economic growth goals with environmental protection in implementing the sustainable development strategy of enterprises, especially after the merger of Tay Ninh-Long An provinces.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat went to the field to inspect the location of cross-border environmental pollution at landmarks 170 to 171, 171/4 in Ben Cau commune and landmarks 161/3 to 171/1 in Tan Lap commune (Tay Ninh).

The working delegation noted proposals and recommendations to remove difficulties and obstacles for business operations, especially in promoting science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and green transformation to develop effective and sustainable business.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat suggested that businesses focus on the following action groups: Ensuring national food supply chain security and sharing the results with stakeholders; improving and applying advanced technology, taking full advantage and potential of businesses to enhance competitiveness; investing heavily in local human resource development, building and consolidating close links between farmers - production - trade. “I believe that, with the initiative, creativity and high determination of the government, people and business community, we will create a solid foundation for implementing national strategic policies and guidelines on socio-economic development associated with resource management and environmental protection, making an important contribution to achieving sustainable development goals.
