Salavan Provincial Police presented flowers to congratulate Hue City Police on this anniversary.

During this visit, which lasted from August 10 to August 13, the Head of the Delegation of the Police of the Lao provinces respectfully sent his best wishes to the leaders and all officers and soldiers of the Hue City Police. At the same time, he highly appreciated the achievements and results of the Hue City Police force during 80 years of construction, fighting and growing. This is an opportunity for the City Police and the 4 Lao provinces to continue promoting comprehensive cooperation in the coming time.

At the reception, Major General Si Sot Son Da La, Director of Salavan Provincial Police and Major General Kham Ban Phom Mani Vong, Director of Sekong Provincial Police, Director of Hue City Police thanked the two units for attending the ceremony. The leaders of the three local police agreed to continue to tighten and strengthen the cooperative relationship, traditional friendship and special solidarity between the three local police forces to become deeper and more connected.

On this occasion, Hue City Police, Sa Van Na Khet Provincial Police and Champasak Provincial Police jointly held a meeting to discuss the situation and evaluate the results of 2 years of implementing the Minutes of Cooperation to ensure security and order.

Discussion on the situation and evaluation of the results of 2 years of implementing the memorandum of understanding on ensuring security and order in 2023 between Hue City Police and the Police of Sa Van Na Khet and Champasak provinces.

Representatives of the Public Security of the three localities acknowledged and highly appreciated the cooperation results achieved in all fields in the past two years, especially the work of grasping the situation, exchanging and handling information related to security and order, which has been carried out regularly and effectively; actively contributing to the cause of building and protecting the country and fostering the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, making it increasingly closer and deeper.

Representatives of the three local police leaders agreed on the key directions and tasks set out at the meeting, especially promoting cooperation in the fight against transnational crimes, drug crimes, human trafficking, high-tech crimes, and arresting wanted criminals; strengthening delegation exchanges in conjunction with sharing and exchanging experiences in all aspects of police work in the new situation. Hue City Police proposed and received high consensus from the other unit on creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese citizens in general and Hue City in particular in handling residence procedures, guiding compliance with Lao laws, ensuring legal residence, and avoiding violations of the law.
