According to the Organizing Committee, this year's high school graduation exam takes place in a special context, with the whole country implementing the arrangement of two-level local government apparatus.
The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27. The city has 124,072 candidates registered for the exam (an increase of more than 15,000 candidates compared to 2024), of which 2,565 candidates registered for the exam under the 2006 generaleducation program and 121,507 candidates registered for the exam under the 2018 general education program. The examination council has arranged 5,587 rooms for exam supervision, of which 5,172 are exam rooms; 182 waiting rooms, 233 spare rooms.
With such a large scale, the Examination Council mobilized more than 16,000 officers, teachers, and staff to participate in the examination supervision work at the examination sites; mobilized more than 800 officers and teachers to participate in the examination marking work; Hanoi Police mobilized nearly 900 officers and soldiers to participate in the examination supervision, marking, and examination marking work at the examination sites.
Along with that, the city mobilized more than 600 officials and teachers to inspect and supervise 233 examination sites. In addition, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training established 16 teams to conduct surprise inspections of exam preparation and organization; 5 teams to inspect the protection of exam papers and test papers outside of working hours.
With the important nature and increasing number of candidates, it requires close and harmonious coordination between the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and all levels, sectors, localities and the participation of the entire political system.
Speaking at the conference, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that the exam has received special attention from society, setting high requirements for quality, seriousness, objectivity, meeting the expectations of students, teachers and education managers.
This year's exam has some new and adjusted points, so the requirements for training and implementation must be carefully prepared. To organize the exam supervision, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires teachers participating in the exam organization to clearly understand the specific goals and tasks.
Hanoi Department of Education and Training noted that at testing sites where candidates only take the first subject of the optional exam, the Head of the testing site will arrange a waiting room for them to sit until the end of the second subject exam.
Candidates who are only taking the second subject will be arranged to sit in the waiting room to wait for the exam time. Each waiting room has at least one invigilator or exam room supervisor to manage and remind candidates to take the exam according to the regulations.
When given the command, candidates are called into the examination room, the invigilator will check and verify the candidates' identification documents; candidates are absolutely not allowed to bring into the examination room prohibited documents and items.
During the essay test, the assigned staff and teachers must remind candidates to only leave the exam room after two-thirds of the test time and to submit their answers, test papers, and scratch paper before leaving the exam room and the exam area. At the same time, note that candidates are not allowed to leave the exam room during the entire test time and between the two subjects of the optional test (multiple choice test).
If a candidate must temporarily leave the examination room, the invigilator must notify the examination room supervisor for coordination. The candidate's exit from the examination room or examination area in case of emergency must be supervised by the Police and the examination room supervisor until the end of the examination session and decided by the Head of the examination site...
