2 drivers detained in 2 consecutive horrific accidents that killed 6 people

On December 3, news from the Hoa Binh Provincial Police said that the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Lac District Police had issued a decision to prosecute the case and temporarily detain NVD (passenger car driver, 42 years old, in Dien Bien) and PTH (truck driver, 43 years old, in Phu Tho) to investigate the crime of violating regulations when participating in road traffic that occurred in Man Duc town and Phong Phu commune, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province.

Initial investigation results determined that the first particularly serious traffic accident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on December 1 at Km92+00 of National Highway 12B, passing through Man Duc town, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province. At this time, the tractor-trailer driven by driver PTH traveling from Hoa Binh to Lac Son collided with a motorbike without a license plate.

On the motorbike, there were 3 people (the driver is unknown) including BXT (17 years old), BVA (16 years old), BVT (19 years old, all from Thanh Hoi commune, Tan Lac district) traveling in the opposite direction. As a result, all 3 people on the motorbike died on the spot, the car and motorbike were damaged.

The second particularly serious traffic accident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on December 2, at Km110+77 of National Highway 6, passing through Phong Phu Commune, Tan Lac District. At this time, the passenger bus driven by driver NVD traveling in the direction of Son La - Hanoi collided with a motorbike whose driver was unknown traveling in the opposite direction.

The accident caused all 3 people on the motorbike, including: D.CH (18 years old), D.CH (18 years old, both from Phu Cuong commune, Tan Lac district) and D.VH (17 years old, from Suoi Hoa commune, Tan Lac district) to die on the spot, 2 vehicles were damaged.
