Suzuki GSX-8R 2025 - ideal sport-touring at a very affordable price

In order to meet the latest emission standards, Suzuki in India has recently officially launched the Suzuki GSX-8R 2025.

After launching the 2025 V-Strom 800DE in India, Suzuki Motorcycle India has turned its attention to its mid-range sports bike – the GSX-8R, which has now been upgraded to the 2025 model with necessary improvements to meet the latest emission norms prevailing in India.

The new 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R is a popular mid-range sports bike globally. It offers a good balance of price and performance, making it a great choice for sports bike enthusiasts. Despite being a dedicated sports bike, the GSX-8R still has excellent long-distance capabilities, making it an ideal sport-tourer.

This versatility, combined with Suzuki's high reliability, has made the GSX-8R enduringly attractive. The 2025 GSX-8R in India gets a few powertrain upgrades to meet the BS6 P2 OBD2B emission standards issued by the Indian Government and effective from April 2025.

The 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R sport-touring model will still use a 776cc, liquid-cooled, inline-twin engine. The engine has a 270-degree crankshaft, producing a maximum capacity of 82 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm.

Equipped with a 6-speed gearbox with manual clutch. Comes with supporting features such as: Easy Start quick start system, Ride-By-Wire electronic throttle, bi-directional quick shifter, assist and anti-slip clutch (slip & assist clutch). The vehicle also uses a manual clutch with a 6-speed gearbox.

In addition, the Suzuki GSX-8R 2025 is also equipped with a series of modern equipment such as LED lights and a high windshield. The vehicle also uses a fully digital instrument cluster and is supported by the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System electronic driving assistance system and Suzuki Drive Mode Selector.

Along with that are front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS and Suzuki Traction Control System for safe operation. The vehicle also has Showa SFF-BP upside-down front shock absorbers, and the rear is a single spring shock absorber. The vehicle uses 17-inch cast wheels with high-quality Dunlop RoadSport 2 tires for impressive operation.

Suzuki GSX-8R 2025 is sold in the Indian market with 3 color options and a listed price of 925,000 rupees (equivalent to about 280.5 million VND). There is currently no information on whether this model will be brought to Vietnam or not?
