Up to now, Son Hoa district has started construction and repair of 100% of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households (467 houses as approved by the province). Notably, in the first 6 months of 2025, from mobilized sources, the fronts of communes in the district have built and repaired 6 houses for poor households with a total amount of 149 million VND, including 1 house in Son Hoi commune, 1 house in Son Nguyen, 3 houses in Son Ha and 1 house in Son Xuan.
According to the Son Hoa District Fatherland Front Committee, one of the biggest advantages in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the district is the deep concern and close direction from the Party and the State, demonstrated through specific policies and guidelines on social security and caring for the lives of the poor. This creates a legal basis and clear direction for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the district. In addition to the state budget, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and the community also actively contribute through funds for the poor and social security programs. Diversifying capital sources helps reduce the burden on the budget, while creating a widespread and sustainable support network.
