Representatives of Dan Tri Newspaper and An Lac Hanh Sponsorship Association presented financial support to build a house of love for Ms. Lam's family. |
Ms. Lam's Charity House was built in the form of a level 4 house, with a total cost of over 100 million VND. Of which, Dan Tri readers donated over 78 million VND through the Charity Program; donated 10 million VND directly to Ms. Lam's bank account; An Lac Hanh Sponsorship Association, under Lam Dong Sponsorship Association, donated 15 million VND.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam is old and weak, but she still has to work hard every day to earn money to support her family. Her husband, Mr. Bui Van Bang (73 years old), is weak and almost completely deaf in both ears. He depends on his wife for all his daily activities.
Mrs. Lam’s only daughter, Ms. Bui Thi Hang (42 years old), has suffered from meningitis since childhood and thrombocytopenia. Due to her illness, Ms. Hang has difficulty walking and cannot work or live like a normal person.
At the age of 24, Ms. Hang fell in love with a young man, but when she gave birth to a son, her "husband" left her without remarrying. She was sick and could not work, so she had to rely on her mother, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lam, to take care of her young child.
Life was so difficult that many years ago, Mrs. Lam's family had to send Bui Minh Hoang (18 years old, Hang's son) to SOS Children's Village in Da Lat so that Hoang could be raised and educated. Many years ago, due to the difficult life, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lam's family received support from a unit to build a level 4 house. After many years, many items of the house were degraded but Mrs. Lam's family did not have the conditions to repair it.
