Tighten standards and conditions for personnel participating in organizing the 2025 high school graduation exam |
According to Article 6 of the Examination Regulations, examination staff must fully meet the requirements of moral qualities, professional qualifications and clear background. Specifically, those participating in organizing the examination must have good moral qualities, strictly abide by discipline, have a good grasp of professional skills and have been fully trained. Individuals who are being disciplined, under disciplinary review, are being prosecuted for criminal liability or have not had their criminal records cleared will not be assigned to perform the task.
In particular, the new regulations clearly stipulate that those who have a family relationship with the candidate (including spouse, parents, children, siblings, parents-in-law, etc.) are not allowed to participate in the work of creating questions, invigilating, grading exams, or performing duties in the locality where the relative is taking the exam. This regulation is intended to ensure objectivity and prevent the risk of interference with exam results.
In addition to the general standards, the Ministry of Education and Training also clearly stipulates the tasks, powers and responsibilities of each position in the exam organization to ensure clear and effective division of labor: Head of the Exam Steering Committee: Takes the highest responsibility for all exam organization work in the locality, ensuring that the exam takes place in accordance with regulations and objectives. Head of the Exam Supervisor: Manages and operates exam supervision activities at the exam site, assigns tasks to exam supervisors and handles arising situations. Exam supervisors: Directly supervise candidates in the exam room, distributes exam papers, collects exam papers, and ensures that all candidates strictly comply with exam room regulations. Head of the Exam Marking Committee: Takes responsibility for exam marking, including organizing marking, checking, and summarizing results to ensure the accuracy and fairness of each exam. Exam Markers: Directly mark exams in accordance with the marking instructions, answers and score sheets of the Ministry of Education and Training. Supervisors: Supervise the entire exam and marking process, record violations (if any) and report to superiors. Service and security staff: Ensure security, order and safety at exam sites, preserve exam papers and test papers and support necessary material conditions for the exam.
With the new regulations, the Ministry of Education and Training hopes to improve the seriousness, fairness and transparency of the high school graduation exam - an event of great significance to students across the country.
