“Independence Star 2025” - a harmony of art and politics

On the evening of August 24, at Ho Guom Theater, a special art-political program "Independence Star 2025" will take place.

This is one of the key cultural events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. The program is chaired by the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine, the Ministry of Public Security , in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee.

With the theme “For a prosperous Vietnam”, the program is elaborately designed with a structure of 3 chapters: “Under the majestic flag of the flying yellow star” (Aspiration for Independence - Freedom); “Journey to build peace ” (Innovation and action, building a happy nation); “Aspiration for a prosperous Vietnam” (Continuing tradition, creating the future, building a rich, prosperous, and powerful nation). The program includes 15 diverse and attractive performances, not only depicting the heroic historical journey of the nation, honoring the Party, Uncle Ho and the People's Public Security force, but also conveying the aspiration to build a developed, prosperous, and deeply integrated country with the world.

The highlight of “Independence Star 2025” is the creative combination of traditional performing arts and modern technology. Holograms, lasers, 3D LED screens and advanced stage techniques will create impressive visual spaces, taking the audience through historical stages - from independence in 1945 to today's innovation and integration. The program brings together famous and beloved artists such as People's Artist Pham Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, singers Anh Tu, Dong Hung, Hoang Bach, Do To Hoa, Ha An Huy, Viet Danh, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Minh Thuy, Bui Hoang Yen...

Held annually since 2016, “Independence Star” has become a major political and artistic art program, with both profound ideological value and a strong influence in society, contributing to arousing patriotism, pride and civic responsibility.
